Indian Paramilitary soldiers and police set up roadblocks and snipers took positions atop government buildings as India celebrated its national day Tuesday against the backdrop of a terror alert.

This was the third incident of firing from Indian forces in a month, officials added. Pakistan had already launched protest against Indian firing during flag meetings with India.
